A. Lange & Söhne: Dressing down is probably doable though I have not tried it out

And yes, I’m still very satisfied with this duo. In fact, I think the Saxonia has edged out the 1815 in terms of wrist time over the past few months, and I’m 99.9% dressed in t shirts and jeans. Personally, I think either watch works with formal and casual without much fuss.

I like this one - compared to the Mark 16, I would prefer that just slightly over this one. The size is only 1mm apart, but that one somehow feels a little nicer on a smaller wrist - not sure if it’s visual or if the lugs on the 18 are actually a little longer. I did not know that, but now that you’ve mentioned it, even the hands look like it’s from a Reverso, at least I see an almost identical pair to my Reverso GT.

IWC: Much nicer with a better positioned date window

I sold the Mark 16 off previously and it was not the best decision I made. Wanted to get a replacement eventually but the Mark 17 was not to my taste. This is close, but I like your version better.

IWC: True. I would prefer if the date was either not there or just a little more to the right though.

But in reality, I'd say it bugs me on picture, but when on the wrist, it is subtle enough to not be an issue
