I’m only referring to the maintenance factor for white gold. The rhodium coating makes things difficult if I do something stupid and damage the casing. But you’re right that the copper dial goes perfectly with a silver case. The blue from the sun/moon contrasts really nicely with the rest of the wat
I think tan would look good, but in keeping with naval tradition, black or navy blue would probably fit best. I’m actually partial to finding a stainless steel bracelet that would fit it as well.
So, I have all the badges and everything that followed the watch. Although I’m an Army guy, I did notice an interesting badge provided with the kit, which if awarded as usual, makes the original owner special. Or just a collector of cool unit insignia. More to follow on that. With regards to my Chop
