Great combination of watches and "papers" I have a humble collection of JLC alarms: Grande Memovox, and black Memovox 914. My dream would be a platinum Compressor Memovox!

Jaeger-LeCoultre: No chrono...

Hello, I too went through the puzzlement of what is in this watch... The subseconds display is not chronographic - I believe it always spins, showing time zip along. And it can do this I guess because there is a barrel to power the indicators, which is separate to the barrel powering the escapement.

Horological Meandering: Grand Seiko and JLC

Alas no pictures as I'm travelling! Grand Seiko SBGW001 - the dial colour is incredible (very subtle cream) Grand Seiko SBGR037 - the blued hands and embossed dial are beautiful JLC MUT - need I say more?!

Seiko: Thank you - brings back memories!

Great post - thank you! I went there with my brother last October (though I couldn't take photos, so well done!). It was a fascinating tour, and it was brilliant to go to the home of a couple of my GSs (SBGW001 and SBGR037). Did you buy one of the special editions there?!

Jaeger-LeCoultre: I noticed that too...

and being the owner of a steel 34mm MUT and a RG Grande Memovox I was saddened to see the MUT and MGR go. I agree it is a bit strange that there are no replacements.
