This is a brilliant masterpiece from AP. This brand also does open work watches like no other brand. Time will soon reveal and we will see a much greater appreciation of these Millenary works of art from AP. As a brand also AP is getting more and more recognition than ever before. From pieces such a

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Best Memovox

This is really a great watch. I managed to get one before it was discontinued from JLC Geneva boutique. Enjoy the watch if you have it, the new one doesn’t have the magic of this dial. Also going to your main question, it’s not outdated. Enjoy it and love it!

Officine Panerai: PVD

Excellent, so PAM has discovered a more durable watchcase. This means that PVD in the near future will be hard to come by

Officine Panerai: PVD VS CERAMIC VS DLC

This is a very good question....Ceramic will be more durable than a steel watch which has PVD treatment. The new DLC coating on Panerai 332 would be more scratch resistant than earlier PVD models such as PAM 26. This is my opinion, I may be wrong. I have been wearing my PAM 317 and 292 quite often,
