Officine Panerai: Missed my python

I had a python strap made for my PAM 48 years ago, but when I sold the 48, the python had to go as well. Seeing the old pics made me miss it, so I had another one made for the 44 mm luminors, it arrived today! The gator is a new addition as well. old one on PAM 048 deployment PAM 005 on tang buckle

Officine Panerai: very nice!

Congrats on a great piece! Never handled that one in person but it looks a lot thicker than tha hand wound movement, is that right? Enjoy it!

Officine Panerai: it's easy to find out

just check the image-sections of the big search eningines to get multiple pictures of each model and study them. I like the L-dial as well, but in most instances, a sandwich dial is nicer.

Officine Panerai: historically correct or not...

Well, maybe one can dream about more historically correct and even more correct than correct. But I must say I really love this post, it's models and the great great pictures as they are! What more can we wish for? Well, I'm just a PAM-lover and not a collector, so maybe I shouldn't comment too much
