Patek Philippe: Daytona

I have both: 5960P and a WG Daytona with a Meteorite dial. I think the Daytona is the btter daily wearer. First, since it is a bracelet, it can be cleaned while the 5960P croc band just gets dirty (I sweat a lot). Secondly, I don't hesitate to wear the Rolex whei doing anything, from golf to gardeni

Patek Philippe: 50 for me

My 5960P just wound down (I'm on a trip as it is not on a winder). I wound it up last night. It took 50 winds (with a wind being from the tip of my finger to just beyond my knuckle.) It does seem a bit much for the watch given only a 48 hour reserve but I suspect it needs a lot of power. By contrast

Patek Philippe: My PP problems at purchase

I bought a 5960P from the Geneva Salon in April 2007 (I ordered it in Jan 06). When I got home to NY, I noticed the crown completely unscreweed when setting time.
