Chopard: That's the one!

An underappreciated tour de force. But back to the new Ferdinand Berthoud - it is amazing. Impressive how they've managed so much in such a short period of time. Kind regards, kkwn98

Chopard: Very nice indeed

It reminds me a little of the Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Chronometer with the ChronAP escapement... I think I might prefer it in the octagonal case like the FB1, but it looks great and I'm looking forward to seeing and handling it in the metal. Kind regards, kkwn98

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Original all the way!

The new Reverso repeater has a beautiful dial, but I really dislike the repeater slide - why is it crown side? It's necessarily small due to the lack of space and it looks crowded and stingy to me. My opinion only, of course. Kind regards, kkwn98

Independents: I don't mean to be rude, but

I recall a contributor here once attributing Haldimann's lack of attention/adoration/worship to his size. Kind regards, kkwn98

Chopard: Platinum one for me!

Best sounding of the three and best minute repeater, period!

Independents: Hmmm... déjà vu?

Technically impressive, but my very first reaction when seeing these was "Octo Roma".

Chopard: Beautiful piece and I like the salmon dial Time Traveler One in the background

Did you go for it? If so, congratulations! I know the owner of number 1 of 8 and it looks even better in the metal! Kind regards kkwn98

Chopard: To clarify, it's not a date window

It's a jumping hours display. I initially thought a blue background, with a white or gold number would make this go from "almost perfect" to "perfect", but I wonder if Chopard opted to have a white background for legibility reasons? Kind regards, kkwn98

Horological Meandering: Awful news

This is terrible! I had the pleasure of meeting Horology75 on a few occasions and he always struck me as a kind, fun-loving man with superb taste in the finer things. It's tough news to take and I can only imagine how his family must be feeling... my sincere condolences to them and may he rest in pe
