Audemars Piguet: That is correct

Hi, there is nothing wrong with the warranty for your older Royal Oak. Guarantees for older models simply do not have warranty/guarantee numbers. My Offshore Chronograph, purchased new from an authorised dealer in 1998, did not have a warranty number in the guarantee documentation, nor did a watch I

Independents: Wow

Absolutely amazing piece you have there! You must be very happy to have it back - hope the service didn't take too long? It's definitely not one of the things I look forward to when it's time to send some of my watches off for service... The purple strap goes very well with the rose gold case - a sp

Audemars Piguet: Very nice indeed!

I actually like the dial on this one, as it's basically the same as the dial for the Jules Audemars Grande Sonnerie, albeit this one has a gradient blue colour. I always liked the dial and overall look of the Jules Audemars Grande Sonnerie, as it was a very elegant and understated watch which had an

I find the sunburst guilloche pattern to be extremely elegant and no doubt will gleam and present a different l

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Absolutely awesome!

Many thanks for sharing and for the excellent writ up, Nicolas! Jaeger-LeCoultre once again demonstrate their technical prowess with this beautiful watch. The hidden rotor is very clever and I'm not sure I've seen anyone else do this. It almost reminds me of the Patek Philippe reference 3974, althou

Blancpain: Fantastic watch!

Many thanks for sharing. I remember when this watch was launched... such a different (horological) world back then! I assume the crown and pushers on this are white gold, given the very noticeable colour difference to the rest of the case in platinum? I've noticed this on some other platinum watches

Rolex: A late reply

Hello, the two ice blue shades are different. I have the diamond indices dial and, based on a side by side comparision I once did, the diamond indices dial is definitely paler than the non-diamond indices dial, as shown by the pictures above. Kind regards.
