Thank you to everyone who commented. It’s great to be part of a community of fellow watch enthusiasts. I look forward to seeing your daily wearers, newly acquired pieces, and those hidden gems you’ve rediscovered from the safe. I’ll keep sharing, too. Enjoy the weekend!
Seeing how often you’ve been wearing your Romain Gauthier C these past months, I can completely imagine myself—in a few months or years—writing a post saying: “I discovered the Romain Gauthier C, and it’s so light and comfortable that it became my one and only daily watch!” 😅
Hi everyone, I’m a one-watch collector, mainly for financial reasons. I’d rather own one great watch than juggle four lesser pieces on rotation. Over ten years ago, I started exploring vintage watches—first with the usual Universal Genève chronographs, and eventually I landed on a 1970s Rolex 1675/8
I always notice what people are wearing. Spotting a vintage Rolex, which I used to own, is already quite rare—but seeing an independent watch is even rarer. I’ve never come across one in the wild. Your RG is still very cool, Jay, even when dressed up!
