Got the definitions wrong, you're correct. That said the Omega is indirect but the indirect impulse is imparted with not much lower mechanical efficiency so I think of it as "the same".

Double direct impulse=something pushing on balance in both directions at near 90deg, Omega coaxial (and Daniels), Voutilainen 28, FPJ CO, UN Freak, and a few more all qualify.

I saw a black cloth strap on an Octo that was absolutely gorgeous the other day, I feel like you could probably find one of those Etsy people to make a woven fabric strap with a horizontal taper and folded edge with leather liner. It would look so great with the Classic Origin!
