that's a pretty impressive price spread for 1961 (!)... can only imagine what Omega would have had in the catalog back then for $10k

Rolex: Nothing is infallible... in many ways, that is what makes mechanical watches so 'charming' ;-)
Best of luck - Rolex will get it sorted out and you will eventually see this issue in the past
