Horological Meandering: I posted this on another thread that discussed Patek's corner cutting practice... moving it here as I wanted to know what the holy trinity are thinking.

So it's pretty clear patek absolutely skipped some work on the calibre, Vacheron has done absolutely nothing to revamp their ageing lineup and calibres, and AP's new 1159 is now just a pre-requisite of getting a RO. Just what in the world are they thinking? Do they really think Lange will not catch
