Breguet: Agreed, and it didn't come naturally to me at first either.

Breguet: Thanks, it is neat how manufactures like Breguet can layer dials using different techniques

Regarding my Blancpain, I started collecting in the mid-90s and was a big fan of the Zenith El Primeros with their date of 4:30, so to my eye, it doesn't look out of place as I was indoctrinated to Zenith's design. Breguet: Since I’m a fan of negative space on a dial, this Breguet is likely my ideal dressy watch

One of the things that attract me to the Bathyscaphe models are the small indices with expansive dials; it just works to my eyes versus some ‘maxi’ type indices here.
