Here is my 1940s LeCoultre, with the famous UG 285 movement. After 80 years, the watch still tells great time and is super fun to wear. Loved the article. I have a 1940s LeCoultre Chrono, ref 7090, with 285 movement. Have never seen such a comprehensive view into these models. For the 7090, the only one I’ve ever seen online was with a Cartier dial. Mine was redialed at some point in time but is still ticking…

A. Lange & Söhne: A bit late on this one...

...Here's the 1815 on its new blue gator strap. I think it really makes the blue hands pop, dresses it down a bit, but is still classy enough for this beautiful piece. Thanks for all the encouragement this summer - loving it!

I've been thinking of switching up the stock black strap on my WG 1815 with a blue alligator strap, which I'd think would go perfectly with the blued hands and dress it down a bit.
