I also prefer the black one... most of the time... By the way: The straps came with a note saying that Kennsen had changed their standard strap offer and that, because I purchased their Bi-Compax shortly before the change, I should get their new straps too… : )

Got a package in the mail: two new easy change straps sent by Kennsen (not requested – just sent). So I thought I would take a few snaps of them before a late lunch; catching-up with reading on the latest technical advances is hungry work. The brown or the black – any strap preference? Kennsen is a small Swiss house. They seem to put a lot of effort into doing things well and have two watches: this and an annual calendar. Escapementmagazine.com just published a piece on their AC.
