Independents: Mine says hi

Awesome piece Was thinking of getting the brown strap which I think will go well with the black case and dial.

Horological Meandering: It is starting to turn out that way my friend

As long as the pieces are as excellent as the Daytona and Ming I am a happy repeat customer. It sits well for me.. maybe going to order a shorter strap.

Horological Meandering: Exquisite steel

Basically an unboxing of the Ming 17.06 Monolith. We were both impressed with the quality of the piece itself, the travel pouch and those lugs. Been wearing it the past two days and my biggest concern buying a watch unseen has been the thickness of the piece. Glad to report it sits on the wrist well

Patek Philippe: Interesting observation on the minute markers

Looking at previous posts the 5712 A and R did not have the larger minute markers but the Patek site does show the larger minute markers at 25 and 35. Could this be a recent dial change?

Patek Philippe: Hi Daniel

Thank you and Huat!! The virus is indeed scary and has put most that celebrate CNY in a more reserved mood for the festivities. Rightly so in order to minimise the risk of it spreading faster. Wishing everyone good health has taken on extra symbolism this year.. The strap is definitely a highlight.

Rolex: Hi Colton

I know why you mean. I definitely have more fun with it on my wrist when fishing. Didn’t manage to get any snakeheads but did get a few Piranhas or Pacu as they are known here. This was a fairly small one.. the angler in the background managed to get a 6kg monster.. catch and release thankfully.
