WristScan: I wanted this one when it was announced.

I kept procuring other AP ROO, but still held a candle for this one. Finally got it about a year ago. Thanks for the response!

WristScan: Fun thread! My submission meets all of the criteria except two: it is expensive to service, and not easy to replace (there are only 1000 in the world)

But, I see this clearly as a tool watch because it has a prominent tachymeter scale and is designed for measuring the speed of moving objects, most likely race cars. It is also waterproof to 10 ATM which adds to the “tool” character. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore “Montoya” in titanium

Horological Meandering: Green has always the favorite color of mine since I was a kid, but for the most part, it has never seemed "natural" in wristwatches . . .

Nevertheless, I did find one that had the perfect hue for my tastes: Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin “Série Atelier” and portrait of my 1970 911

Horological Meandering: More than a little reminiscent of Naoya Hida’s watches -

. . . almost to the point of plagiary . . .
