I love this watch and I bought it 2nd hand in mint condition from a dealer that allows returns. And I returned it! Why? Too big on my 7 1/4” wrist. The watch is VERY tall (thick) and that didn’t jive with the minimalist design at all. At 42+ mm in diameter, it is fine for a dive watch (which it is), but the disconnect in the design (thick but minimalist) was something I couldn’t live with. I considered the 38mm briefly, but the negative space on that piece is reduced obviously and it just isn’t good-looking enough for me. I suppose that the black version will look ‘smaller’ (black faces and cases generally do), but it will never look thinner when you look down the barrel.
If you have tried it on and still love it, the black ceramic is my vote.

The ceramic is pretty good. My strap changes have caused small scratches on the lug undersides, but honestly, it looks way better than on steel. I would endorse ceramic's toughness with scratches for sure. Interestingly, the ceramic variant still feels so...

This is definitely one of the reasons I'm switching out my current "low stress" watch. It's ~14.9mm thick. It looks like the TI 38mm is only 10.77mm thick though?

… the complete calendar builds on the 1150 caliber, which looks very small in the 43mm case. The standard model features caliber 1315 which a better fit and offers a superior performance. The choice between titanium and black ceramic is really down to you...
Not to muddy the waters but…
If it were me, I would probably take a hard look at the 50 fathoms MilSpec Limited. They are still floating around from time to time. The Bathyscaphe Ceramic blue is also quite stunning
