this one was amazing....ended up in Palm Springs and on the cover of Hemmings Classic Automotive some years ago......in a battle of it and a 1974BMW 2002, also a great car

Automotive: great lines...though

red would not be my choice...maybe fly yellow or the metallic blue. Have you ever driven one...they are a blast but really steer most like an old Austin Healey mkII 3000. Not my cup of tea as there are several quirks with the engine and all...but still great eye candy........hope you find one!

Horological Meandering: Undestand....

totally the dilemna. I find that 3 watches seems correct for myself...one has sentimental value (was my fathers) one is a complication (chrono) and one a simple everyday watch....that way I can be sure they are all worn on a weekly basis. For myself anymore is too many. That being said yes I do some

Photography: Lovely images.....

These are superb....the moments really "come alive"....thank you. I think it also shows off the amazing capability of the GFX 50r, and what a great unit for street shooting and hand-held......

Zenith: It was created....

For the French Air Force but never "deployed" . There are some with Luminova dials most with Tritium...and also a version that is black......here is its brother, with Luminova dial....these were sold until about 2007 or so as new.

and hope others fared well too. Be careful on that morning walk -always good to survey the area after such an event.....

Horological Meandering: I am of two minds......

I think there are many watches that are just "tool" watches and important that they function well and hold up.....mostly Rolex sport models fit this bill. As far as collection...well then I assume that something more "rare" is more interesting....like a vintage chrono, or maybe a military piece.....
