F.P. Journe: Like it.

I agree that the strap hides the case but to me it’s a good thing Becoz it creates a harmony and warm tone of the watch

Patek Philippe: Doesn’t this post further confirm the choice?

It’s not just a watch but a memory haha!! You don’t have to do such a treasure hunt for a 5712!

Patek Philippe: Having read and Been impressed

By your post about the Chopard piece back in the Singapore Patek exhibition. I’ll say the unique piece prevails! Though an amazing piece, 5712 is not irreplaceable

Patek Philippe: Very interesting perspective! I only have two Journe

At the moment and that might be the reasons why 5235r found a spot in my heart!! This would be my first or second Patek so I might need to go bother the AD and try them on a few more times!

Patek Philippe: Thank you!!

I wasn’t particularly bothered by either type of hands! In fact I think both of them are beautiful- but I have a slight compliant against the aperture of 5205r - if only the background color is black too it will be very cool!

Patek Philippe: Thank you guys for the invaluable comments!

I agree with all of your advice - 5205r being a Patek DNA watch and 5245r being a more innovative and adventurous one. I like to cover the base and eventually have a well rounded collection like all of you too! I haven’t made the decision yet and will see how I feel when I decide to pull the trigger
