I've never seen IWC as a shiny movement brand - similar to Rolex (although, I'd say IWC is finished better than Rolex movements)... In same cases, I've been downright shocked at how poor the movement finishing on an IWC could be (prior Spitfire Chrono)... I'll never forget when this picture was post
This watch is going to cost you thousands and months to get back to normal - I'd push for a 100% refund and find a better example. Sorry this happened to you - no idea why butchers like this work on Pateks... Can you imagine the damage he's created to other pieces that have gone unnoticed.
