Horological Meandering: Watchville is being retired

Hi Marc, I'm sadden that Watchville is being retired. Just like you, I have visited this website a few times daily for the last few years. I like reading the different perspective on watches from the other websites. For me it was a one stop shop for watch websites. I would visit Watchville and this

Horological Meandering: Nice Watch!

My watch that I learned how to tell time was also a manual wind Timex (circa 1968). I lost my Twist-o-flex bracelet, but when I had a watch maker repair it, I added a pink strap for my daughter. Picture is my Timex on my daughter’s wrist. Great post. Stay well. V/r, SOG

Independents: What a Classy Watch

I love everything about this watch. From the grade-5 titanium case, the dial color, and the tasteful use of the military 24 hour scale. My one recommendation would be adding a power reserve indicator on the beautiful manual wound movement. Wear it in the best of health. V/r SOG.

Rolex: What an excellent watch

I was offered both a one owner GMT coke and pepsi with original box and papers, but I turned both down thinking I had time to purchase these models in the future. If only I knew what the future held, with these becoming rare, and ultra expense watches when one becomes available. Wear your GMT "coke"

Patek Philippe: Simple Elegance

An extremely beautiful piece you have in mind. Here's a picture of my 5227G, before I sold it. It's the quiet details of this watch that make it so wonderful: size is perfect at 39mm, beautiful case and lugs, and the hidden officer's case back. Good luck in your hunt. V/r SOG
