A. Lange & Söhne: Thank you for your comment ablase!

This is exactly what concern me. That the thickness of these sporty rubber strap will pull from that 'under the cuff'-feeling. I like the Ian model, but I am afraid it will portray the same problem. The search goes on!

A. Lange & Söhne: Yes,

It can be very challenging to pair such a niche watch with something not found within the manufacture's own catalogue.

A. Lange & Söhne: Alright,

Now we are talking. Yes I did stumble upon the 'Urbane' model from Hirsch myself. What put me off was the thickness (4,5 mm), but it does tick color, tapering and elegant look. Would you be able to post a picture of your combination?

A. Lange & Söhne: Thank you for your suggestion.

Canvas straps look nice, but might add a little too much roughness to the overall feel. That said I do not actually own a canvas strap.

A. Lange & Söhne: You are absolutely right.

Though I was not able to find a cnfiguration tapering form 20 mm to 16mm. Also it would be interesting to know the thickness of their straps. Too much thickness will put off theat elegant presence.

A. Lange & Söhne: Thank you,

I see that RubberB makes 'vegan leather strap', though the configurations are limited.
