Does anyone else have a Orbita watch winder? I bought a Sparta MINI winder (electric) because I have only one watch thus far. After a few days on the winder, even though the winder is still operating in motion, the watch stops and I end up manually winding the watch anyway. Any thoughts?
Dr. Fogg - Thanks for your follow-up regarding retention of value. An additional concern is buying through an unauthorized PP retailer or distributor in NYC. If PP service would extend to those watches with proper papers.
I've had my heart set for the Yellow Golden 3738/100J-012 for quite some time, and just when I was about to travel to Geneva to purchase one, learned that there's no more inventory and that the model is discontinued. Bummer... And no - the Rose and Platinum doesn't quite do it for me. Because it is
Is it worth buying one if discontinued? So many questions to ponder... Will the resale plummet? Will it still be serviceable after purchase? Had my sights on this one for awhile. The Rose Gold and Platinum doesn't do it for me.
Just learned of the discontinuation news very recently from the Geneva Salon. No more inventory. So...disappointed, as I was going to purchase one earlier this year. Question i have is - is it worthwhile to buy one (not pre-owned) at this point since it will no longer be produced. My concern is post
No I did not. Thank you for sharing I think I first saw this Ellipse on or near its 35th anniversary and had a good feeling about it then. It grew to the point that it's the "one" for me. I'm sure others may have felt the same way with their first.
Thanks for pointing that out...do you have their email address for follow-up? Attempted to use their website's contact page earlier, but message didn't get transmitted due to technical issues from their end.
