I’m going to be in the minority and say I prefer with the date. I think it’s functional and I like the splash of asymmetry it gives to the dial. I completely understand the ‘no date’ camp though!
I love the double leap-year indicator. There's romance to a wheel on a mechanical machine that completes one revolution every eight years! Wear it in good health. MG
A watch I have tried on in cream dial / yellow gold case configuration and, honestly, would love to own. Like Amanico, however, I wish they had used a micro rotor movement. Lange’s implementation of the micro rotor (should I say ‘three quarter rotor’?) is so refined and unique, it’s a shame it seems
