I mean if it is the correct model, those would be one of the very first models that came out of the brand, and have really nothing to do with what it is now. I am all for pedigree, but I'm not sure whether this can be re-sold if need arises.
Do they even answer to random people looking at auction sites?.. isn't that a bit of a stretch. I am just surprised that, for an "illustrious" brand, there are extremely few references. And it is worrying if the only catalogue picture you find is different.
But I mean as a very early series you can see the artisanship they are renowned for is not quite there. No anglage to speak of, for instance. It's still a very interesting piece though...
This seems to be a long shot for a brand that has won some awards recently, but: I've come across a buying opportunity for a very early LM model, which seems to be referred to as the Adonis (duograph?..). This is the only official reference picture I could find. Note the differences on the caseback
This one isn't a piece for me at all, however it seems to be something of a rarity (haven't been able to find anything at all?): a quartz bicolor GP with the equation of time complication. The execution, especially for a quartz watch, seems to be on a rather high level.
