Just thought I'd gratuitously post before and after pics side by side (sorry for the bad quality) to show my watch guys skill. Dials are notoriously hard to clean without damaging them..In my experience however localised rust spots and melted rubber watch seal debris can be fixed...

It's back! The rusting round the sub dial pinion has gone (along with a bit of the dial finish..but i can live with that. Only visible at certain angles..

hi There, Can anyone help me with IDing this beaten up JLC. It's on the way to me. I picked it up really cheaply and decided on a gamble. Case and beat up dial style suggest 48-53 period and movement is possibly A. Schild for JLC from a later JLC club. Only reference i can find for a 25 jewel date a

Hi, I just picked one up silly cheap on a make an offer bid on eBay France . it needs a revision and I must try and do something with those hands..i'm confident the sub second rust spot can be easily rid of..No sign of water damage to the movement, it's just dirty....Were really only 4121 made from
