Horological Meandering: It’s a Ventus Mori Diver

SEIKO Movement bronze case. If I recall correctly it was around $200 and purchased in 2017. The company went in to make various different models in Gunmetal and Steel. Back then the watch came with a canvas roll and 3 different straps. A cool case back with a vintage divers helmet the watch and beze

Horological Meandering: Trying to distract myself from the worlds challenges - Buying experience

I watched a Micheal Blakey video the other day about a Reseller in NYC and it got me to thinking about the often overlooked “experience” when buying luxury goods. In recalling an older Jean Claude Biver interview I recall him talking about the experience and how in the early days it was all about th

Seiko: If not mistaken he bought it around 1975.

In 3rd place, as iconic it may be the Lange does nothing for me and I typically lean towards a more traditional analogue style. Furthermore the size is IMO also too big. 2nd place is tough

Horological Meandering: My own meanderings.. other than OK..... what’s yours?

The recent buying and internet frenzy surrounding the TimexQ and not least the identical phenomenon with its BLNR sibling has got me to thinking as to the reasons I collect watches and not least what type of collector I have become. It’s a somewhat lengthy discussion but I’d welcome your thoughts a
