Horological Meandering: 2020 was a non existent year for me

In pruning the collection throughout 18/19 I got to where I wanted to be, alas a change in circumstances in late 19 meant further cuts were required. 2021 is the start of the rebuild with my famous five as the foundation I will likely now turn to cheaper watches in which to start the rebuild unless

Horological Meandering: I like in the UK and picked it up in the H Samuel sale for £75

Lume is on the hands only, the light stays on for 3 secs when pressed and the digital display is very difficult to read. Special? Meh, it’s a $100 watch,.... wears super light and is thinner than all other G shocks

With all these colourful options and increasing cases sizes have we seen the death of Rolex conservatism and the beginning of a gradual morph into Omega? Furthermore with the New Kermit edition is it yet another sign after the WG to SS Pepsi and PM to SS SkyDweller move that nothing is sacred there

Horological Meandering: It’s a Ventus Mori Diver

SEIKO Movement bronze case. If I recall correctly it was around $200 and purchased in 2017. The company went in to make various different models in Gunmetal and Steel. Back then the watch came with a canvas roll and 3 different straps. A cool case back with a vintage divers helmet the watch and beze
