I guess it boils down to how you wear your watch but personally I don’t like the watch flopping around nor do I like it too tight on the wrist. So your watch needs to fit right when your wrists are small in the morning and during those hot days or after workouts when your wrists expand you widen the

Audemars Piguet: Patek has a micro adjust. They launched it with the 5811
VC was I believe the first that had a seamless bracelet micro adjust. So Nicely done! Patek followed. Then majority like Rolex Jlc Tudor etc have the micro adjust as part of the clasp.

IWC: Why do watch manufacturers do this? Why would they place the lug holes of the spring bar so far from the case that there’s a space between the case and strap?
Is there a solution to fix this other than purchasing a thick strap?
