Ah that’s interesting to know. I’ve only ever noticed versions with the Waltham signed backs and Waltham signed rotors. I wonder if the ones with the BP signed backs also have a BP signed rotor. It’s always good to have an understanding which combinations are correct.

Obviously not NOS, but I am very happy to have found such a great condition HF Chronometer still with the original strap and Sun buckle. … and completely agree that it’s just not worth throwing money at this problem as an all correct watch with original Delrin bracelet is only a few thousand bucks. And anyway, the starting point for me is one of the most battered 3701 cases I’ve seen. I’ll likely make a similar case mod to Bill, or p
