Patek Philippe: So is that the back side of the case back ring or......?

Hi,...it looks to me as if your pic is showing the reverse side of the gold ring that holds the sapphire back crystal in place,.... is that correct? If so that surprises me, because then the "case" number actually follows a removable ring. So I don;t think that's it...... I would have expected the c

Just a thought and not trying to bust your B***s,....but for others this might just save you $2,000.00 if something like this happens to your watch.
