Patek Philippe: What a massive line up

and thanks for clarifying the definition of "Calatravas". Amazing to know its wide range of coverage. From something extremely simple all the way to enamel, skeleton and even rare handcrafts which are all inclusive under this product line. Agreed that the watch market has been on a roller coaster th

Montblanc: Thanks for the beautiful pictures.

Interestingly, there aren’t as much coverage or videos on this watch. The dial seems very special but would like to see it in person. Sure it looks nice with the black PVD though.

Patek Philippe: Thanks Gordan for such an informative thread again.

Personally I prefer the marquetry dials better as they appear to be more realistic and vivid to me. In particular, I like the tigers and rabbits the most.

Patek Philippe: Thanks Gordon for such an excellent write-up as usual

Love your true passion for enamel dials and it is always something new to learn about from your threads. In your opinion, which of them is harder to make (understand they must be all so difficult)? Aesthetically, I prefer the zebra as the monkeys are a bit creepy for me : )

Patek Philippe: Thanks for your replies. Seems like a new theme will be implemented for the 5231 series

though the J maps seem to be the same in both 5131 and 5231. Can't wait to see how this will unfold in the R and P versions later.

Patek Philippe: This is probably one of the most comprehensive (if not the most comprehensive) Patek rare handcrafts gathering I have ever seen on the forum.

These pieces are just so beautiful and exquisite which showcases one of the deepest roots of Patek. This is truly what Patek is famous for and trying to preserve in the watch making horology. We, as enthusiasts, are so fortunate to be able to learn and appreciate this technique with so much history

Patek Philippe: Thanks for sharing this wonderful 5180/1R wrist shot!

I believe the watch must feel extremely light and comfortable to wear given its thinness and lightness together with the mesh bracelet. Although it's a bit on the flashy side, I personally prefer the rose over the white gold version as the engraving seems more distinct on the rose gold movement. Hop

Patek Philippe: Congratulations on the new 5088P

and also the other exquisite and beautiful rare handcraft pieces you have. One will never get tired of looking at them and please keep them coming : ) Personally, I like all kinds of rare handcraft pieces as each of them represents a special position held by Patek on the market which makes the brand

Patek Philippe: Is the watch fully wound again before you re-activated the chrono function?

Given the chrono has been running for awhile before your notice, it may just be a power issue? Hope all the best!
