Independents: I’m not concerned about such things. Every watch has his upsides and downsides.

But most importantly, I don’t have the $ money to buy one anyhoo and won’t/can’t sell off everything else to reduce my collection down to 1🤷‍♂️. I greatly appreciate your advice nevertheless!🙏🏻

There are so many points of possible ingress for water, due to the numerous dimples on the case to set the day/date/moonphase/etc. A mechanism such as IWC’s where all Perpetual adjusting takes place through the crown makes it WAY easier to seal it up nicely.
