IWC: Nice watch! I like that they were able to do the crown and pushers in Ceratanium versus the original.

Here's a photo of my original 3705 (with updated dial & crystal). It's one of my favorites, And I am just realizing IWC rearranged the subdials between these two.

Horological Meandering: It's interesting that the Cornell piece is also signed RGM.

Thank you for putting this informative post together. I learned of a few makers I was unaware of. I've always been a fan of RGM, and find it cool they are in Lancaster, PA, former home of Hamilton.

Horological Meandering: I'd want the Cartier.

I appreciate the history and heritage, and anything else would feel like too much of a compromise.

Horological Meandering: I believe the general movement family is called "AO60".

Solar powered, +/- 5 seconds per year, perpetual calendar.

Horological Meandering: I was wearing The Citizen today.

I appreciate the only attention this watch requires is sunlight, and perhaps an annual time adjustment. It's always just there, anytime you want it.

Breguet: There good points here about true value versus perceived value.

I was having similar thoughts recently about GO versus L&S.

Rolex: The mixed Romans and Arabics are a little odd.

Any ideas why they did that?
