Patek Philippe: No entry level steel Nautilus

No more. Sporty Calatrava steel models will do that job. And in 1-3 years time a new line will be introduced - also with a core steel model. The Nautilus is now something more than a simple entry level sport PP. It is, as PP repositioned the entire line, a cult object.

Impressed and surprised by the blue dial of the 5811/1G. Also surprised, but not impressed by the blue dial of the 5990/1A. This means only one thing in my book: Bye bye to the simple date time Nautilus in steel. For good. If PP intended to re introduce to regular production a 5811/1A at some point,

Rolex: Rubber bracelet!

I can see why Rolex has been marketing the oysterflex as a bracelet. It feels like one, while it looks like a rubber strap. It is both very comfortable and robust, unlike any other simple rubber strap from any manufacturer indeed.
