Patek Philippe: Also in my opinion one of the best modern Rolex has to offer. In steel or in gold on the oysterflex is my preference.

PP released this year an annual calendar gmt. Totally different watch and totally different interpretation of the complications though.

Horological Meandering: Patek 5230P

That 5230P is not only one of the best releases in W&W, but also the best one from PP this year. A classic platinum Patek, with a sporty aura - thanks to that gorgeous suede calf blue strap, with contrasting off white stitch.

Patek Philippe: It is stunning

And yes, PP have started the sportification in aesthetics, of the calatrava, complications and now grand complications line of watches. I like it. As for the price, well in a world where people pay 200K for a Naitilus or Aquanaut, why not? Cheers!

Patek Philippe: 100%

A great one watch, with class and heritage, all year round, if there ever was one - like all Aquanauts. Sadly, still waiting for PP to release more straps in different colors for all Aquanauts.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: It is exceptional

I really cannot understand why JLC has abandoned the Duometre. It is their best achievement. A piece, reasonably priced, with a unique mechanism, stunning movement and dial. They insist on presenting the one Reverso after the other, every single year. Enough already. I am truly disappointed. I love
