Same thing happens with Richard Mille.. I think the manufactures look the other way because it keeps the value of their brand up... and creates a lot of buzz-- like this post likely contributes. Not that I agree it is the right thing to do. There is no reason Patek or Richard Mille could not produce

I have a small wrist about 6.5 in and elected to go with a tang buckle double split platinum.. I generally prefer tang buckles in general but my other two Langes have a deployment buckle I find this watch although heavy balances very well.
