There is huge confusion out there even amongst dealers re these two models. I would say 60-70% of dealers have the new 40' down with the ref number of the old XL. The dealer I bought off did and my warranty card even has the old XL ref on it LOL.

Had a new watch arrive yesterday so thought I'd post a bit on it - something German and something a bit more traditional. I've finally found something a little dressy that I can tolerate The model is the Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar and it nicely complements the rest of my more sporty watches.

Favourites would be: - Marine Big Date in black/SS on rubber.........lost out to a GO Panomatic Lunar as my latest buy , but a great watch nonetheless - the new Classique 5751 Hora Mundi .....that's on the "one day in the distant future" list.
