I have several classicly styled 3-handers and time-only with sub-seconds. I guess I am looking for some additional complication. I love chronos, but have several already. GS will likely have the highest finishing at this price point, other than some used JLC's or GO's.
...but might start up again this winter. It isn't really a directly transferable skill for depth, distance or spearfishing... but it certainly doesn't hurt!
So 42 is on the very upper side of what I like to wear nowadays. 45-51mm lug-to-lug is around the range. The big pilots or even the Petit Prince is larger than I'm looking for at this point.
So obviously my tastes are a bit eclectic, but for between $5k and $7.5k, there are some very interesting choices. What would you put on there that is perhaps a bit off the beaten path (no subs, explorers, speedys or navitimers) would you consider that I may have missed?
...as a person in decent shape can get up to 4:00 mins quite easily. I can train someone within 10 days! 😱 It's super useful if you like to eat fresh seafood! I don't know any other freedivers who have this watch. Mine doesn't even get wet... 😂
Every red circle is 1-minute. It fills red, then goes blank / silver again for a total of 14-minutes. It was designed to be SUPER easy to read the elapsed time without having to think / use any more oxygen then necessary The hands were designed to not obstruct the Chrono readout. I actually find it
