Horological Meandering: I'm COMPLETELY in the same boat!

I hear you! I'm looking for one to put on my wrist somewhere near Toronto!!

Horological Meandering: Cool piece!

I have several classicly styled 3-handers and time-only with sub-seconds. I guess I am looking for some additional complication. I love chronos, but have several already. GS will likely have the highest finishing at this price point, other than some used JLC's or GO's.

Omega: I don't train static breathholds presently....

...but might start up again this winter. It isn't really a directly transferable skill for depth, distance or spearfishing... but it certainly doesn't hurt!

Horological Meandering: I have a 6.75" wrist...

So 42 is on the very upper side of what I like to wear nowadays. 45-51mm lug-to-lug is around the range. The big pilots or even the Petit Prince is larger than I'm looking for at this point.

Horological Meandering: What would be on your radar for under $7500 USD?

So obviously my tastes are a bit eclectic, but for between $5k and $7.5k, there are some very interesting choices. What would you put on there that is perhaps a bit off the beaten path (no subs, explorers, speedys or navitimers) would you consider that I may have missed?

Omega: Genetics aren't a major factor...

...as a person in decent shape can get up to 4:00 mins quite easily. I can train someone within 10 days! 😱 It's super useful if you like to eat fresh seafood! I don't know any other freedivers who have this watch. Mine doesn't even get wet... 😂

Omega: 22 min breath hold...

Is done after breathing pure O2. On regular air, its in the 12 min range. I'm down in the 5 and a half min range. 😜

Omega: It takes an unusual combination...

Of a WIS and an apneist to be in that position... 🤣

Omega: Indeed!

Every red circle is 1-minute. It fills red, then goes blank / silver again for a total of 14-minutes. It was designed to be SUPER easy to read the elapsed time without having to think / use any more oxygen then necessary The hands were designed to not obstruct the Chrono readout. I actually find it
