Bulgari: The Bulgari IS the thinnest tourbillon.....

Hi, The AP your referring to is Calibre 2870 where the back of the case is part of the base plate.....that movement is 5mm thick. The point of that watch wasnt being thinnest....it was the size of the tourbillon cage being the smallest. The Bulgari Tourb....is 1.95 mm thick that is almost 1 mm thinn

Hi MTF, I think you mean when Giorgio passed in 1966 the company was operated by his sons Gianni and his younger brothers. Gianni eventually stepped down due to personal reasons in the 80's and sold his stake to his younger brothers Paolo and Nicola. It should be noted it was Gianna and Gerald Genta
