Rolex: TT Datejust II Wimbledon for a TT Explorer I

Hello, I struggle with a major dilemma, would you trade a TT Datejust II with Wimbledon dial for the new TT Explorer 1? Anyone owns both of these watches? I have 39 mm Explorer I Mk 1 already. Like the Datejust but often feel it is blingy. Thank you for any input you can provide! Anyone owns both of

Both 5212 and 5170J have about the same market value these days OS strap choice is justified. Will let you know if I end up doing this

Still cannot understand why hasn't 5170J become as desirable as many sports watches. People say, too many were produced, but certainly fewer were produced compared with 5711 or 5167....

Patek Philippe: According to Patek

history, Calatrava refers to a round simple timepiece inspired by Bauhaus design where form follows function. 5522 does correspond well to this description. It is however a modern Calatrava and differs from original 96. There should always be progression.

It’s funny how initially I was on the haunt for more complicated pieces, then years later one realizes that all one needs a simple timepiece that has that internal beauty that Patek knows and provides to collectors year after year.
