Patek Philippe: 5165

5165 is not black.. its kind of a brownish black that changes texxture depending on the angle you look at it... for some reason it also seems to have a radiating gradient in terms of texture under certain lighting conditions.

Audemars Piguet: royal oak day date moon phase -- Why discontinued?

Hi all, I've been thinking of a royal oak day-date, but recently saw that the current royal oak day date actually replaced an earlier model the royal oak day date WITH moon phase. What was the rationale with removing the moon phase from the new day-date?

Patek Philippe: Aquanaut 5165 -- Why discontinued?

Anyone knows exactly when the 5165 was discontinued? Also why did they do so? The 5167 is too big for me.... Assuming I want to get a new watch, there doesn't seem to be any smaller alternative (apart from ladies aquanaut models)?
