Independents: After a very long time...

I found myself in a position to finally buy a Habring. Picked it up from the distributor today. Quite a different look with the gray dial. Doppel Felix split second Chrono. Cheers Dave

Ulysse Nardin: I bought mine from a fellow forum member many years ago...

Lovely watch even if I would prefer the white gold version. Mine is ref 386-88 with display back. Others have a solid case back in relief. Some versions have a pulsometre scale, others like mine a tachymeter.

Blancpain: I like the Fifty Fathoms...

I like the FF and have one in my collection...and the posts are dominated by the model. But, the Brand makes some other good stuff as well. Dave

Patek Philippe: 5070 Fan here...

I like the manual wind, stepped bezel and overall look of the watch. I agree with the other comment that they are likely more scarce...the 5070P especially so. My preference shows in this photo from my collection. Dave

Horological Meandering: First watch for me was a Movado piece...

given by my parents for high school graduation in 1985. Not a great horological piece but sentimental. It started a 35 year journey and many hundreds of pieces acquired. Dave

Ulysse Nardin: I own an hourstriker...

and one of the charms is the automaton. It would have been good to see this continued. I do like the improvements stated that drive a louder chiming. It is rather faint on the older pieces. Dave
