I love the complication, and this is a grail piece for Lange.

Congrats on a wonderful 12 years with the CB! We must have bought ours around the same time. I wear it often and still love it. It can pair with a wide variety of straps!

My Lange Anniversary was purchased as my father's only watch, and he wore it daily for a decade. This is my surprising answer. Doesn't seem like an everyday watch, but it is for me.

But not true for all Lange! Some Lange are great with non-stock straps. This one relies on the black on black aesthetic though.

It's true that downtown is not my favorite part of SF. But the same is true of other cities, like NYC, LA, New Orleans, etc. I understand why the brands put their boutiques where they do. I like SF. I think it's a great city, with good food, nice neighborhoods, and overall a good culture. Certainly there are problems and a few bad neighborhoods, but that's true of any city. I'm thrilled that Lange is opening a Salon here, and I plan to visit when it is open. I hope they stay here lon

The RG/anthracite would be my pick. It's a striking combination, and I first noticed it with the Lange 1 Timezone in this combination. But really all Lange models with RG/anthracite are amazing and striking. No one at work will care what you wear, get what you think looks the best.

But it comes back with more age!
