Vacheron Constantin: Congrats from a fellow 1942-er

Congrats on the pickup SF! I've been enjoying this same watch (Red Dial) since December and it's nearly been my every day choice since.

Vacheron Constantin: Winding info

Agreed with JMPTT. As a fellow 1942 owner, I asked that question at the VC boutique in NYC a few weeks ago (I was having some issues with the date wheels properly jumping). Wind fully until it feels resistant to going forward, don't force it, just keep winding smoothly and the crown should jump back

Patek Philippe: There's even a few of us a few miles further south in Boston...

The next time either of you are down this way, give a shout. Happy to grab a drink or coffee and talk watches. Zack

Patek Philippe: Agreed. It's always nice to receive a little something unexpected.

Received this pen from AP on my birthday last year and the belt last week from VC as an early birthday present on the return of my 1942 from a quick service.

Vacheron Constantin: I’ve only had this piece since December

So it’s worked pretty smoothly to switch over from Dec to January. I’m sure it will be easy enough to grab a wooden toothpick and advance to March 1 come feb 28th. The pusher buttons were pretty easy to use when I set the watch originally.

Vacheron Constantin: As a 1942 owner the answer is easy for me.

Perpetuals are great but the looks of this new VC is simply stunning. And it wears really well for 40mm

Vacheron Constantin: Getting over the 🐪 day in Boston.

New England isn’t the most hospitable place in the frigid winter months... so I suppose we often thank our lucky stars for corduroy and Dunkin’ Donuts... even found a lucky silver quarter in my change that’s only a year or so off from this Historique’s inspiration’s release year. Finding it very har
