Hi there! It is alligator leather. The piece that attaches to the top of the watch is ~120mm long, the piece that attaches to the bottom is ~65mm long. Both pieces are 20mm wide at the lugs Hope that helps, Ben

Good morning! Over the past year I've been looking for a watch that I will be happy to have on my wrist for many decades to come. It's been a long but enjoyable search! I found reading reviews and opinions on this forum extremely helpful during the process. I've finally settled on a Breguet Marine 5
