Jaeger-LeCoultre: Bvlgari

I thought bulgari is an independent brand because of its strong releases the past years. I did not know its under LVMH. I agree Panerai, IWC and VC together with JLC are looking more like fashion brands than serious watches IMO. Yet these are brand with rich history. Hublot, Tag and Zenith are doing

Audemars Piguet: Whatever happened to the Tradition Line?

Hi, I was just thinking about the tradition line (square with curve angles) that AP release a few years ago. Is it still in production? Rather than release the code, hoping they would fix the tradition line. I completely forgot about it but I recently saw it online. The time only and perpetual calen

Audemars Piguet: Love the movement

The real reason I am interested in getting a jumbo is because of the movement. The previous jumbo and other models with the same movement did not interest me. This current jumbo really speaks to me. However, it is very hard to acquire through normal channels. I just got depressed due to the complain

Audemars Piguet: Did you use a winder?

Hi, There is a suggestion in a post below that the winder cost the problem. Just want to know if you used a winder? I know that even you used a winder, the watch must not have any difficulties. It is out of curiosity that i am asking. Many thanks.

Audemars Piguet: Time in service

How long did the service take for the rotor? I usually get simple time only watches but have started collecting chrono. I just had my Patek annual chrono and legend of Arnold roo serviced. Each took 3 months for service. This jumbo is a dream of mine but I didn't know that movement is delicate.

Hi, I read in a post here that many are having problems with the 2120 movement, is this true? Since, It is only a time only movement with no second hand, what is the reason for sending it back for service? Is the time off by 5 minutes or more? Or does it stop completely? Or is it more on the power r

Omega: I think people like the first five.

I dont know if my first omega should be a museum line watch. I will try to look around first and keep on trying on the wrist before I decide. I might just be interested because of the limited edition and unique design cases and dials. Thanks for the insights. Francis

Omega: Thanks!

It seems they mostly use precious metals on the museum line. I would have like to see the last three chronographs in stainless steel. Francis
