Much better proportions and more difficult to find than a 5270R

Horological Meandering: Fascinating watch, small correction...

These caliber 15.26 watches made in the late 1930's with customized dials and engraved backs were presented to graduates of the Yugoslavian Military Academy in Belgrade. The reference number is actually 2326. 20652, as stamped on the inside case back, is the order (or batch) number.

Patek Philippe: An important watch...

Great choice in WG/Romans of Patek's first retrograde perpetual. The purity and balance put all its successors to shame.

Patek Philippe: WG or Pt. with Romans dial, the best version of Patek's first retrograde perpetual...

Purer and more balanced than all its successors, a masterpiece from the Philippe Stern era.
