Cartier: How thick is this model?

The standard time/date model is 11.5mm I've read... Does this model wear thick? Agree that it has a very dynamic dial.

Cartier: It truly is a wonderful piece live...

I was shopping for a slim dress watch a few months ago and stopped at the 5th Ave. boutique. I went in thinking about the Louis Cartier Tank or Ronde but it was the Santos Dumont in PG that really caught my eye. It's extremely elegant, slim profile, hugs the wrist and actually wears larger then a 35

The 38 case proportions were really nice when I tried it on, but the numerals on the dial didn't sing to me, probably because I have another dress watch with numerals. Officine Panerai: 42 seems the perfect size for that Radiomir case

I've been tempted to try that model on, just worried it might be to tall... Is it over 14mm? Was going to visit the PAM boutique on Madison a few weeks ago while in NYC, but got held up in JLC next door.
