I was told by my AD that an alternative way of - by error - getting your watch magnetized was the new kitchen stoves, where heating is done by induction. Technically these stoves work by magnetizing the pan, and if your watch comes to close, it will be affected to. Regards Søren

I experienced the same problem - the Navy Seals watch stopped when operating the alarm. The AD followed up - got the watch send through sevice.
