A. Lange & Söhne: ALS Langematik Anniversery: A chip of the same block?

Dear all, I recently found this Longines 15.26 from 1910(?), which looks like the grandfather to our most beloved ALS Langematik Anniversery. Does one of you know whether this similarity was intentionally or by chance? Looking forward to feedback.

Horological Meandering: Three additions to a great summary

Dear Patrick, great summary to which I have three comments. A) Similar to Nicolas I also use my MRs a lot. There is nothing nicer that to listen to the time in morning and turn around for another 15 min. Just like listening to the birds in the morning. B) I started my experience with MRs with an IFC

Thanks for this good insight, I agree with to a large extent. The only question is whether the Internet with its vast options of information and online purchase does not change the equation and trigger some changes over time. The in-demand brands facing a situation where they can't supply show cases
