I agree! Just wonderingif you considered the 5711 and if you did, why you picked the 5712?

Patek Philippe: thanks for the input

Thanks very much to all of you for the input. Someday, I'll probably end up owning a few watches to put in a rotation. But for now I'm looking for 1 watch to wear everyday... I was trying to decide between the 5107, 5127 (both classic, clean), 5711, and 5712. Thinking that I'm usually more casual, I

Patek Philippe: Whats your choice for one pp to wear 100% of the time?

Trying to get a pp before oct 1. Just wondering... If you had to pick one, just one everyday pp... Which and why? Patek Philippe: Papers vs registration

Thank you all for your responses. I would think the tourbillon is correct in saying that one really only sees papers upon purchase and if trying to sell the watch. I guess to clarify, I wonder if it will matter to my son/daughter when I give them the watch and boxes and papers -- that the papers wil

Patek Philippe: How important are papers in your name if the PP is intended "for the next generation?"

Hi All, Wondering what your thoughts are on being the first owner of a watch and having papers in your name? I'm planning (someday) on passing the watch down to my kids and wonder if it makes sense to spend the extra $$ vs. getting a close to or like new watch? I understand a like-new PP will have t
